Great local sports fields. Junior football and rugby in the winter and artificial cricket wickets for the summer. There’s also a good cricket net facility provided by Rotorua Cricket Association

Ray Boord Park is a Rotorua Lakes Council sports reserve on Devon Street near Pomare/Westbrook in west Rotorua. The site has open rugby and kick-around fields with toilets and parking, and a separate larger sports field with a playground across the road; nearby are Rotorua International Stadium and Smallbone Park. It is a relaxed local sports-and-play stop rather than a destination playground.

Oooh love this place...my dog has a field day...loves the lovely clean river. One question though, it looks like the shrubbery has been sprayed, I know alot of people gather the wild veges and such... would be nice to leave as is
