Point Erin Playground sits inside Auckland Councils Te Oka / Pt Erin Park on Shelly Beach Road at the Westhaven and Herne Bay edge, beside the historic Pt Erin Pool. The playground works across a wide age range with ladders, ropes, ramps, slides, climbing equipment, swings, rocker toys, and a viewing tower, plus a ramp into the play area for accessibility. Picnic tables, drinking fountain, basketball half-court, toilets, and bike stands ring the park, with accessible parking from Sarsfield Street. The Westhaven Promenade walkway and cycleway runs along the harbour edge for an easy extension. A solid family stop pairing pool, play, and harbour views.

Although it's an older playground it still deserves 5 stars. It is in a pretty location and the playground itself is simple and suited to younger children with a slide, fort and swings (including a toddler swing). Public toilets are available and there is plenty of parking. The large, mature trees provide natural shade for a picnic in the park. #DiscoverFun #Playz #Playground #Shade #Trees
