Picton Memorial Park Playground is the destination play space on the Picton Foreshore at London Quay, run by Marlborough District Council. The pirate-ship centrepiece is built fully accessible with poured-rubber soft fall and a wheelchair-friendly ramp, joined by a colourful splash pad, mini-putt golf, model railway rides, grassy lawn shaded by Pictons signature palms, and direct beach access. Toilets and seating on site. Summer hours 9am to 9pm, winter 9am to 5pm. Well-regarded by Marlborough families and a natural stop for Cook Strait ferry travellers arriving in Picton.

What a great playground! Had an unexpected 2hr stopover, lots of climbing and fun. Ice-cream truck, good toilets, great views. What more could you want?
