Ballinger Park is a Marlborough District Council reserve in the heart of Riversdale, Blenheim, accessed from Ballinger Drive off Budge Street and connected to Ōpaoa and Henderson reserves. The playground claims the longest and highest slide in Blenheim, linked to wooden play structures on two large soil mounds, plus fortress-like climbing structures, swings and a flying fox. The reserve sits next to the Nelson-Marlborough Institute of Technology and Marlborough Community Gardens, with established plantings, picnic shade and public toilets. Best treated as a destination Blenheim family stop.

Not a bad playground, has a couple of slides and a bridge between the two sides of the playground. Park is sadly full of rubbish. Go to Pollard park instead
