Miles Lane Reserve is a Tauranga City Council riverside reserve in Tauriko, set quietly along the banks of the Wairoa River. The headline feature is a large fully fenced off-leash dog exercise area with river access for swimming; flat grassy paths follow the river with picturesque water views, and toilets and parking are on site. A small children’s play area sits among the trees but the reserve’s main draw is its dog park.

This place is amazing, wonderful for dogs and humans to have exercises, get in touch with the nature. Listen to the birds, to the river, look the flowers and the trees. Very nice to visit. Highly recommend 👌 ❤️

One of my favorite places to visit, I love the walk along the wairoa river. Great to see native trees getting planted along the riverside. I wish the council would add a toilet block! As its a long way to go to find the nearest public …
