Margaret Griffen Park is an Auckland Council park in Mount Roskill (Puketapapa), gifted to the city by Andrew Griffen as a recreation area for local youth and named after his late wife Margaret. The 3-8 age playground sits near the Griffen Park Road entrance with picnic tables alongside, plus two bookable sports fields used for cricket, football and athletics, a basketball half-court, accessible toilets and the Lynfield Youth and Leisure Centre run by YMCA.

Good place to spend the night with your campervan, tidy toilet and daily cleaned showers, no hot water though.

Can get quite busy with all the cars coming and going not so quiet but very lovely though need to be early if you want to freedom camp as there’s limited spaces even in September
