Legacy Park sits beside the Hamilton LDS Temple at 509 Tuhikaramea Road in Temple View, opened by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a free-to-visit heritage precinct. Visitors find a split playground for toddlers and older children with slides, swings and climbing structures, raised boardwalks over planted wetlands, ponds, picnic tables and a historical exhibits building. Toilets, parking and shaded grounds are kept by the Church and entry is free.

Great church owned park. The grounds are cared for with love. Playground facilities are nice. Christmas lights at Christmas time are a sight to behold along with the story of Christ reign. I'm

Such a lovely place to visit with the kids. There is an excellent kids playground, with an area for little kids and big kids. There are also beautiful paths through the trees to explore. A lovely calming vibe and space to run around. There is a picnic area with a shade cloth and tables up by the playground. It's a short couple of minutes walk from the car park to the playground. We usually go on a Saturday and it's very quiet.
