Kennedy Park is an Auckland Council clifftop park at Castor Bay overlooking the Hauraki Gulf, with WWII concrete observation posts you can still explore on-site. The playground was the first on the North Shore to receive a spacenet climbing frame and combines a large rope climbing pole, junior slide, swings, merry-go-round, hammock, bouncer and a sand play area under shade sails. A separate preschool area offers a rock wall, slides and swings. A long wooden staircase descends to Castor Bay beach, with public toilets and ample green space alongside.
