Castor Bay Beach Playground sits at the end of The Esplanade on Auckland's North Shore, tucked into a grassy beachside reserve between Milford and Campbells Bay. The play space features climbing equipment, monkey bars, two slides and a wobbly bridge, with picnic tables and toilets close at hand and the sheltered shallow beach a few steps away. It is consistently well-regarded by visitors as a destination spot that pairs play with sand, Rangitoto views and the coastal walk through to Milford. Parking is on the surrounding streets, so it can fill up on summer weekends.

Nice kids playground right beside the beach. Clean and tidy area. There are public toilets nearby, making it convenient for families. Great spot for a fun day out. Nice view from here.

Small but lovely beach. There is a small play area for the kids and nice grass area for picnics. The beach has everything you need. There are changing facilities as well. Have spent many summer evenings relaxing here.
