Howick Domain Playground sits inside Auckland Councils Howick Domain on the corner of Howe and Moore Streets in central Howick, with entries from Wellington, Moore, Howe and Nelson Streets. The refreshed play space has obstacle course style equipment best for primary-aged kids with a covered slide, climbing walls and nets, and a toddler zone with space-walk, slatted barrel, rocker toys, a wobbly log bridge to a junior slide, and a standalone swing set. Skate features, a basketball half-court, fitness stations along the path, picnic tables, and toilets ring the park, though shade over the play area is limited. A solid central Howick stop, more suited to primary-school confidence-builders than toddlers.
