Halfway Bush Park is a Dunedin City Council sports park on Ashmore Street in the Halfway Bush suburb, with a wide open playing field used for cricket and football alongside a neighbourhood playground. Equipment includes swings, a slide, a seesaw, and a roundabout, with a new half basketball court added by Council in 2021. A practical community sports park rather than a destination playground.

Great park - grew up around here and spent a lot of time here. The rocking horse is well gone but there are swings, a slide, see saws (these can be dangerous so keep well away from the hinge) and there is some seating. A very large sports ground area which currently has football goal posts up. We used to fly kites here amongst the HV wires that transition the north-west end of the park beyond the school. Recommended for a visit on a sunny day. Lived across the road at 93 from age 7, my mother lives across the road in the same house from 1969 till 2024.
