CL Bishop Park is a waterfront park in Eastbourne on the eastern shore of Wellington Harbour, with a fully fenced toddler play area and a larger playground for older kids, picnic tables, a barbecue and public toilets. Headline play equipment includes a custom-designed lighthouse tower by Playground Centre, swings, a flying fox and a giant slide nicknamed 'Rocktapus'. The Eastbourne summer swimming pool sits right next door, and the shops at the end of Marine Parade are walking distance away.

Nice beach to have a walk. With Fantastic view of Wellington city, out through the heads & north over to Petone. The beach is full of shell for the kids to find their favourite. Peaceful & quite. (Great when there’s no wind)

Great on a calm day. Beach is sandy just below low tide mark. Alot less crowded than Days Bay
