Churton Park Reserve is a Wellington City Council neighbourhood reserve in the Churton Park suburb, 1.5km north of Johnsonville, accessed off Bayou Lane and adjoining residential streets. The reserve combines wide grassed sports fields with a small playground featuring swings, slides, climbing wall and basketball hoop, plus picnic seating and walking links to Lakewood Reserve and Grenada Reserve. The play area is part of Wellington City Council's 2024 play-space refresh programme; it's a relaxed family-and-school-run stop rather than a destination playground.

Great park to take kids of many ages with good parking options.

It's alright. Some of the kids play area needs an update / refurbishment. Nice large field to play on and a single basketball hoop, though its stuck in a corner where rain water pools creating a mini swamp around the hoop. Some idiot locals haven't figured out that the swings are for kids, not grown ups.
