Love it.. except there is no public toilet or water fountain or rubbish bins. But there is a play center situated next door which is closed most of the times.

This Hillsborough playground is the play space inside Auckland Councils West Reserve, accessed from the end of Currie Avenue. Mature trees give plenty of shade over the equipment, and toilets and picnic spots are on site. The reserve gate is open 7am to 9pm daily, and Hillsborough Playcentre sits next door. A quiet local stop for nearby Hillsborough families rather than a destination playground.
