California Park is an Upper Hutt City Council park on California Drive in Totara Park, with a playground (climb, swing, slide, jump), tennis rebound wall, bush patches, picnic spots, and wide-open lawn. Walking tracks run through the visible signposted Wellington Fault crush zone, and the Norbert Street footbridge links to the Hutt River Trail and on to Harcourt and Te Haukaretu Parks. A relaxed local stop with geology bonus rather than a destination playground.

Expansive park that is great for dogs. A nice playground and covered seating are tucked into one corner and a basketball hoop is also in the park. Having the play resources closer to each other and some more resources for dogs such as drinking areas would make this park even better.
This is a nice park on the Northern edge of Totara Park, Upper Hutt. The park area includes a small playground and a basketball half court and hoop. There are lots of well established trees, as well as plenty of space for the kids to exercise and for people to walk the dog. Also a nice shelteted place for a picnic with the family.
