Great playground. Includes: wide slide, see saw, flying fox and 2 sets of swings. One of the swing sets includes baby/toddler friendly swings. As of January 2026, the flying fox is working. No public toilets available.

Arthur Street Playground is a 1.8-acre Dunedin City Council inner-city play space at 30 Arthur Street, on the slopes above central Dunedin. The reserve sits on the site of Dunedin’s first cemetery (1846–1858, since cleared) and features a 20m new-style flying fox, swings, slides, climbing structures and inclusive play equipment on open lawns, with picnic seating, toilets and walking access into the wider Town Belt nearby.
