Te Whariki Playground sits in the Main Reserve of the Te Whariki subdivision in Lincoln, on the corner of Southfield and Vernon Drive. The play space is finished in bright NumatREC Pour and Play rubber surfacing, with swings, slides, and climbing pieces alongside walking and cycling tracks linking the wider subdivision. About 20 minutes south-west of Christchurch via the Southern Motorway, with cafes and shops in the heart of Lincoln close by. A modern subdivision neighbourhood playground that is well-regarded by Lincoln families.

The kids had an absolute blast at the bike track, especially loved riding around the roundabout and following the road signs—it felt like a real mini road system for them. The play area is really well set up, with great swings and relaxing hammocks that made it enjoyable for both kids and adults. Such a fun, well-designed space that kept everyone entertained for ages.

Great spot to visit, lots of stuff here that you don’t see other places. The scooter/bike track is very cool, as is the tower slide and the water troughs to play with. Swings and roundabout too, and space to run
