Parera Park is a 2.6 acre Christchurch City Council reserve on Kittyhawk Avenue in the Wigram Skies subdivision, with a natural-style playground beside open lawn that suits frisbee, soccer, and non-competitive ball games. Picnic spots, toilets, bike parking, and a small bike-track loop ring the play space, with the sister Tautoru Park Wigram Skies just down the road for combining stops. A relaxed nature-leaning local reserve rather than a destination playground.

Nice wee park actually. A bit light on the equipment but then again, rugged nature seemed to be the predominant theme at this wee park. Very well maintained and a great wee spot, lightly sheltered on a windy day :)
