Normanton Reserve is an Auckland Council park in Glenfield with a large multi-age playground combining a built play space (slides, swings, climbing equipment, rocking and spinning toys, a wobbly bridge) with a 2019 'natural play' area on the wooded hill behind. The wider reserve has a basketball court, learn-to-ride bike path, skate area, perimeter fitness equipment along Normanton Street, picnic tables, public toilets and shade sails over the play area.

Normanton Reserve is a fantastic spot—walking the dog in the big, open fields is so refreshing. The basketball courts add a great active element, and the kids absolutely love the play area. It’s just a vibrant, diverse space for all ages—a real gem in the neighborhood
Nice little (semi)hidden playground up North. Big basketball court which I used to practice roller skating, however bit harder for complete beginners as there is not much to hold on it. Also great playground, 5/5.
